Initial Consultation

During your first appointment a medical case history will be taken, your pain will be examined and you will be given a diagnosis, followed by treatment. Various standard orthopaedic/neurological tests can be used to diagnose your problem. The treatment may include modalities such as electrotherapy (megapulse, ultrasound, laser, interferential) acupuncture may be used, manipulation and massage are used when appropriate to do so. Advice and education on prevention of the problem are given along with exercises if needed.

Your case will be discussed thoroughly with you, and you may require more than one treatment depending on the diagnosis. If I feel that I am not able to help you, or that you need an X-ray/MRI scan or consultation with a relevant practitioner, such as your GP, orthopaedic or neurosurgeon, the relevant arrangements can be made through the clinic, if you so wish.

Children's Clinic

Children undertake such a wide variety of sport these days, it's understandable that occasionally they may suffer an injury. Ian has been treating sports injuries for many years and at present is associated with Weston Football A.C. treating players for their injuries at home fixtures and training.
